Akima Club of Knoxville Announces 2024 Grant Recipients



Akima Club of Knoxville happily announces $86,975 in Akima Grants awarded to the Knoxville Community in May. Funds for the grants were earned through Akima Cabaret 2024 presented in March. The non-profit 501(c)(3) women’s service club was able to award 51 grants vetted and chosen from 67 grant applications. Thirty of the 51 grant requests were fully funded. Community agencies receiving grants cover programs for Arts, Culture and Science; Children and Youth; Medical and Social Services; Senior Services and a variety of other fields.
