East Tennessee Kidney Foundation held their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration, Knox Shamrock Fest, featuring all things Irish at the World’s Fair Park on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Attendees enjoyed inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting, green beer, Guiness, Irish whiskey, cookie decorating and live music. The Lucky Kidney Run was also held that day for those looking for the 6-K race around downtown Knoxville. The East Tennessee Kidney Foundation is dedicated to connecting the area with early detection of kidney disease, education and access to life sustaining care.
