Wine Dinner Benefitting East Tennessee Children's Hospital Raises $180,000

The second annual wine dinner was held to benefit East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. The dinner raised $180,000 and was held at Bistro by the Tracks with a dinner prepared by their chef, John Bryant. 100-pint wines were served throughout the evening and an auction was held that included Napa stays, dinner featuring Bourbon, Benton’s and Bart’s at Van Edom’s, UT football experiences and more. They money raised will go towards a new C-Arm machine. With a C-Arm machine Children’s Hospital can take precise X-rays without having to move a child to the X-Ray table or from the procedure room to the X-Ray (or Radiology) Department. It enables a doctor to assess, in the moment, the results of an ongoing procedure.
